PETREX is a leading designer and manufacturer of Modular Process Equipment headquartered in Harvey, Louisiana. From our waterfront facility just minutes from downtown New Orleans, we serve the petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical process industries offshore and onshore, worldwide. ENGINEERING	Petrex engineers, designers, and draftsman are experienced, talented and equipped with state of the art 3D CAD software. Our project management techniques are proven and results oriented. We take pride in the degree of cooperation between engineering and manufacturing personnel.
FABRICATION AND LOADOUT	Petrex's 25,000 square foot indoor fabrication facility is ideally suited for fabrication and assembly of modular process units. Modules up to 500 tons can be built and outfitted indoors and rolled out the shop door to the dockside for load-out onto barges. Smaller units can be loaded onto truck by means of the 50 ton shop crane. Capabilities include carbon steel, stainless steel, ANSI B31-3 piping, structural, and pressure vessels.
QUALITY SYSTEM	Petrex maintains ASME "U" stamp certification for code pressure vessels. Projects are executed under a quality plan based on the ISO 9000 series of standards which has been audited and accepted by several major international clients. Our staff have extensive experience in project documentation, third party verification (DNV, ABS, Lloyds) and 100% Material traceability methods.
LOCATION	Situated on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (Harvey Canal) in Harvey, Louisiana. Just a few miles from downtown New Orleans, with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi River and the Port of New Orleans.
PLANT	25,000 sq. ft. under roof consisting of a main fabrication bay 90' x 200' x 55' eave height, three side bays 31' x 85', 31' x 70', 31' x 34', tool room 1,100 sq. ft. Warehouse area 4,500 sq. ft. under roof. Hydrotest /x-ray bunker 25' x 60' with retractable roof.
PROPERTY	10.6 acres with 560 feet of waterfront. Surfaced with shell and limestone. Fenced plus perimeter security system.
SHOP CRANES	Bridge cranes - one 50 ton/5 ton in main bay, two 3 ton, and two 5 ton in side bays. Jib cranes - twenty 2 ton in main bay.
UTILITIES	Electric power - 1,000 KVA at 480 volt, 3 phase. Distributed throughout plant via bus duct system. Main and side bays fully lighted. Potable water at 50 psi piped throughout shop.
