15,000 PSI METHANOL AND CHEMICAL INJECTION UNIT

This unit is designed to inject methanol for hydrate inhibition plus various demulsifiers and inhibitor chemicals into a 15,000 PSI subsea wellhead. The pumps are double diaphragm, multiple head, variable stroke metering pumps built by American Lewa. Design injection rates are 50 BPD methanol and 2.6 BPD chemical. The pumps are equipped with stainless steel fluid ends, pneumatic stroke adjusters, and pulsation dampeners on suction and discharge piping. Included on the skid is a 500gal. chemical storage/mixing tank. Rectangular methanol storage tanks with 300 BBI capacity were fabricated from "V-Crimped" 316L stainless steel plate.
